I’m not a stranger to death, having lost many beloved family members and pets throughout my life; however, the death of my mother in 2020 is what encouraged me to look at end-of-life and grief support as a line of work.
When my mother died, I saw firsthand that our current systems are not set up to allow space for grief and mourning. Navigating my grief while also trying to sort through family heirlooms, handle estate and financial needs, and continue my regular work and life felt isolating and overwhelming.
As a death doula, I am here to provide support for the dying person and those who are with them in their final weeks. I hope to make space for loved ones to grieve by relieving some of the burdens of end-of-life planning and logistics.
I am also available for general grief support and offer outdoor walk-and-talk sessions for those who may need peer support as they navigate grief, caregiving, and processing loss and life transitions.
My 1:1 offerings are currently limited as I process and grieve the sudden death of my brother.
